4.1 Poster and Transmedia Development
Feedback on Posters
- keep developing kebab poster
- answer/ reinforce the message in the text down the bottom
- the emergency kebab is essential
- the thought bubble is good, maybe play with the shape of the plate shards (sauce spots, or in the shape of NZ)
- add a subtle background colour
- look at hierarchy, what do you see first?
- make it a bit more dynamic, add some movement
- the plate could be broken, referencing an emergency
- relate the heading to the image, thought-think bubble-broken shards
- maybe could make the food/items look like they are on the skewer instead of floating on top

Transmedia Ideas
- Think about using same visuals in the website
- A flyer could have space/blank pages for getting people’s phone no. and info on safety fit - website
- flyer with rip-offs
- Keychain - food chain, mini torch in the shape or look of tomato sauce bottle
- contact book, or a form they need to fill out at the event
- something in the shape of a plate/food
- buttons/stickers/fridge magnets/calendar/pen with roll in it/jar of something/ 'recipe' book

After a bit of discussion, we have decided to do a keychain that holds a flyer with a top tip to follow in an emergency. We think that a plain flyer that is accompanied by a mini keychain is not very exciting. It makes more sense to have top tips because the individual would already have their neighbours contact from the bbq event. They also would likely have their phone with them.
- We think a torch could work for a keychain, it would be functional or it could just be that shape.
- There could be an image of what could be in your emergency kit.
- there could be multiple chains that represent an item from the emergency kit
- we could demonstrate how/where someone would use it
