Rationale Our approach to Neighbours Day was aimed at suburban neighbourhoods. We chose to use a playful illustrative style and vibrant colours inspired by the neighbourhoods we are targeting, which is a fun welcoming environment for all ages. The main rhetorical strategy that we used across all our touchpoints were metaphors and puns to catch readers' attention and interest, particularly food and emergency related word-play, to connect the idea of how having a Neighbours Day BBQ is beneficial in preparing for emergencies. The style, feel, and content of our campaign is consistent across all of our touchpoints - poster, website, and torch set, which forms a cohesive whole. The poster is the 'before' element, which calls upon neighbourhoods to host a 'Neighbours Day.'
