Flyer Design
The takeaway - we need to think about size and text, because if the flyer is small enough to fit inside a mini torch the text would be very small. We can utilise space and make it double sided. It could be a thin strip that is rolled, or a wider design that is folded and then rolled, perhaps looking like a map. We should make connections to the real world - Wellington, if we use something like a map. It definitely needs food content to relate to our overall theme. Also the content is about how they can use the torch, instead of using a ‘tips on preparing’ when they will not need it IN an emergency, it becomes arbitrary.

- the takeaway, have a white background as a napkin
- refine text copy and fix broken sentences
- make a grid and stick to it
- play around with the size and layout of the text, make sure when decided on one keep it cohesive throughout
- make sure we add the element of emergency stuff in
- it is starting to look like a strong concept
- ‘takeaway’ sounds like fish and chips - could work for our idea
- make a look/style page with everything we need (fonts/illustrations/colours etc.)
- begin using invasion with the wireframe
- use THOUGHT from the poster in other text e.g. things to think about, put some thought into it, chew on this
- poster subheading need to mention emergency
- incorporate thought bubble
- colour in a background
- there is a contrast between the photographic and illustrative images
- there is depth in the poster with the emergency kebab
